am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Florida State University.Previously, I was an Assistant Research Scientist in the Flow Physics and Computation lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University (2013-2016), Research Engineer at Re Vision LLC (2011-2013) and a Post-doctoral Research Assistant (2011) in the Department of Structural Engineering at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). I received my Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 2011. My doctoral dissertation was about flow interaction with flexible structures. I received my M.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology in 2006 and I received my B.Sc. from Shiraz University in 2003.
