Expanded Network for Broadening Participation of Aerospace Engineers (NASA BP-AE and NSF ENBP-AE/REU) Research Experience for Undergraduates

Director: Dr. Carl Moore

Summary

The REU site focuses on engaging undergraduate engineering students for an educational and professional enhancement program in advanced research and professional development activities coordinated by faculty members of the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. The overarching goal of the project is to motivate more US students to pursue advanced engineering degrees or enter research-oriented careers. Motivated U.S. students, especially under-represented minorities, will participate in the ten-week programs. The integrated research and professional activities are designed to prepare participants for advanced degrees and/or professional careers in aerospace- and mechanical-related fields.
