AME is excited to announce the addition of a new mechatronics faculty, Dr. Christian Hubicki! Some of you might be familiar with Christian from his work on the network television hit, "Survivor," where contestants compete in a series of games and puzzles and are voted "off the island" weekly.

Christian took to Twitter to make his announcement last year, but his recent feature in a robotics spotlight from the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering has higher education buzzing again. When asked about his goals in joining the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering, Christian replied, "I aim to control legged robots to be as fast, maneuverable, and stable as animals in the wild. The faculty and students here at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering provide an enthusiasm and breadth of expertise that beautifully complements my robotics work. I am thrilled to start working with my all my new colleagues and am excited to see what we will accomplish together."
