Description

Active flow control (AFC) has Lhe potential for substantial performance gains and meeting the challenges of next-generation commercial and military aircraft. An active flow control technique involving co-flow jet has shown promising performance results in terms of hft enhancement, drag reduction and an increase in stall margin. In this study, we propose to conduct aerodynamic characterization of an RAE2822 supercritical airfoil with co-flow jet (CFJ) at transonic speeds in the FSU polysomc wind tunnel.
